The Basic Step to a Perfect SEO (Search engine optimization)

As a newbie and a digital asset owner, how do you structure your content without first and foremost identifying what your audience wants or is looking for? The Basic Step to a Perfect SEO.

You don’t offer the market a product you think is good for her, rather you supply the market a product she’s in dying need of. The Basic Step to a Perfect SEO.

What is SEO?

SEO (Search engine optimization) is the process of improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines. SEO targets unpaid traffic rather than direct traffic or paid traffic. When you understand how SEO works, you can use different tactics to increase your visibility (or how high you rank) in search results.

SEO is about making it easy for search engines, such as Google, Bing, yahoo search, to find your website.

Given this, the SEO entry point has the responsibility to go all out and identify what exactly your audience needs.

This basic step into SEO that does the market survey for you is called “Keyword research.”

At this point, you should pay detailed attention.

WHAT IS KEYWORD RESEARCH?

Keyword research is a practice in content creation where you identify what your audience needs using a basic tool.

If you build content around a keyword nobody is searching for, I can assure you without sentiment that you’ll fail in content marketing even before you commence.

Several businesses/bloggers neglected this one vital task and they paid dearly for it.

If you intend to drive Google traffic/which as well is referred to as the best traffic, then you must abide by the keyword research rituals otherwise you’ll end up reading your content alone without attracting visitors.

THE GOLDEN RULE ABOUT KEYWORD RESEARCH

1) Do your keyword research first before you commence writing, this way you can harness your keyword around the content effectively and naturally without stuffing.

2) Target keywords with a monthly high search volume but low competition.

The idea is this if you target a keyword with high search volume, (High search volume here means to say that a lot of people are searching for such keyword), and low competition (Low competition here means that blogs/websites with higher authority are not into them or are not interested in ranking for such keyword) you can easily rank for those keywords.

Like I told you earlier in one of my posts here, some blogs/websites are stronger than others according to Google ranking.

So if you go for the same keyword they are interested in, chances are that you’ll lose out.

That said, why carrying out keyword research if such keyword shows to have a high competition it’s advisable to avoid such keyword for your sanity, otherwise, you’ll end up with content nobody will get to read except you intend to do Ads marketing which is considered expensive and the result is just immediate.

The question is, how long would you continue to pay for Ads when every other person is enjoying free Google traffic?

Good luck.
