  • By November 1, 2019, applications to the MIT THINK Scholars Program open online at High school students create exciting STEM research ideas to submit to the competition.
  • Application Deadline Date: The deadline for the scholarship program for the 2019/20 academic year is put at January 1, 2020.
  • By January 15, 2020, finalists are announced and notified of mentorship from MIT professors and researchers in their field, project funding, and an all-expenses paid trip to MIT.
  • By February 2-6, 2020, Finalists visit MIT, tour the campus, receive guidance on projects, and engage in thought-provoking conversations with mentoring professors.
  • By June 2020, Finalists complete their projects. Upon completion of their projects, finalists are awarded a scholarship towards continuing to fulfill their passion for STEM(Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

Value of Award: The scholarship program is said to grant a scholarship worth $7,000 in prize money for the winner.
