That’s all you need to say when they ask you the question, “How did you hear about this position?” Because it shows that you are interested, most importantly, in working for their company and this is not just an impulse decision.

“I heard about this position from Micheal Steve in marketing. Micheal and I attended same college, studied same course. He told me I should apply for this position because he felt that I had the right personality to work closely with clients and would fit in with the team.”

“Once he sent me the job application, I knew he was right. When looking at the entire job requirements, I could check off every box. I am a go-getter, detail-oriented and always trying to come up with creative solutions. I think that if I was a part of this team, I could accomplish quite a bit. I would love to work with the clients you have and lead some exciting projects.”
